Plot[]
The episode begins with the Little Einsteins in Japan, playing hide-and-seek to find Rocket. Rocket is exceptionally good at hiding, but the rest of the team are masters at finding things! They discover Rocket at Himeji Castle. Just then, they hear music, which grows louder and reveals a painting of Mount Fuji. When Leo uses the magnifying glass, the top of the mountain reveals a secret mystery prize. To open it, they need a golden music key. Unfortunately, the key breaks into four pieces and scatters. Luckily, Quincy and June realize that if they can find all four pieces of the key, they can open the mystery prize! However, Leo warns that they should keep it a secret, because they don't want enemies finding out about the mystery prize, especially of those Soviet/Russian fighters. But then, they hear their archenemy nearby. It's Big Jet! He's using the magnifying glass and knows all about Mount Fuji and the secret mystery prize, just like his motivation, Swiper the Fox, who knows all about the snowy mountain and the lost fire truck! Now he's determined to find all the pieces of the golden music key and claim the prize for himself as the battle race now starts! Leo raises his baton and tells everyone they have a mission: a race to find all the pieces of the golden music key before Big Jet. They all board Rocket, fasten their seatbelts, perform the pat sequence, and TOBITATSU!!! (That's "Blast Off!" in Japanese).
While they're on their way to find all the pieces of the golden music key, they hear the notes of the first piece of the key. They come from the Tahoto Pagoda. Luckily, Rocket grabs the piece from one of the cherry blossoms, because it's very easy and Annie sings "Find the pieces". Then, Rocket hears the second piece of the key on the Torii Gate in Japan, but the gate takes the piece underwater. So Leo is going to prepare using his baton to conduct crescendo so that the gate will go up out of the underwater. And when finish conducting they see the second piece, but Big Jet is going to get the piece before Rocket! Rocket grabs the second piece and Big Jet grabs the seaweed. The first two pieces attach and Annie sings "Find the pieces, get the prize"!
They only have two more pieces of the key to find. Rocket hears the third piece, which is located in the Zen Garden. Just then, Big Jet arrives, but he can't find it. Rocket transforms into a pogo bouncer and bounces his way to the piece. Big Jet tries to grab it before Rocket can, but Rocket is faster and snatches it up. The two pieces immediately attach to the third one just as Big Jet crashes and gets covered in tea leaves! Annie sings, "Find the pieces, get the prize, use your ears!"
Finally, Rocket hears the last piece. It's located at the Big Sight in Tokyo. They head to Tokyo and see there are three pieces, but two of them aren't playing Grieg's Peer Gynt. Rocket grabs the one in the middle, and the key is finally complete! Annie sings, "Find the pieces, get the prize, use your ears, use your eyes!"
They are ready to go to Mount Fuji, but Rocket hears Big Jet. He's using three speedy boosters to go extra fast to Mount Fuji and take the prize! So, they are ready to fly Super Fast and beat Big Jet to Mount Fuji.
Soon, they make it to Mount Fuji. Big Jet has become a snowman, and he gives up and goes home. They open the prize box and find the mystery prize: a set of Japanese instruments! The instruments are a shakuhachi, a biwa, a koto, and a taiko. Annie sings, "Find the pieces, get the prize, use your ears, use your eyes" one last time. Mission completion! Or as they say in Japan, Misshon kanryō!
