The Mouse and the Moon is the thirteenth episode of Season 1 of the series Little Einsteins.
However, in production order, it's the nineteenth episode of Season 1.
Summary[]
While camping at nightfall, the team watches the moon on the sky, and the moon shines it light as a way of saying hello. A little mouse is carrying a present for the moon but the moon moves to Switzerland. Now, the team must go to Switzerland so that little mouse can give his present to the moon. However, they must do so before the moon goes down.
Information[]
In order to deliver the present to the Moon, First: You must enter the Musical Roller Coaster and find some bumps to do a staccato. But unfortunately, by a big bump, the present accidentally fell! So you must help June do the hands of open, close to help Rocket catch the present. Second, when entering the art of Ancient Greek and Roman Mosaics, the team saw the owl, so you've got to help June and her team do the clapping dance to sneak around the owl while he sleeps. And while he awakes, the team is going to freeze and they will never move. Third: When Rocket and his team are ready to ski, they have to find snow bumps as they are going to do a staccato once more. Fourth: When Rocket has a plan, he sees the gondola lift. When it gets steeper, help the team pat their lap to increase power to ride the gondola lift and make it to the Matterhorn. And fifth: Help Quincy play his violin of the moonrise song so the moon can reunite with the team. And when the Little Mouse opens the present, it has lots of stars! The Moon is happy and all nocturnal animals are also excited to see the stars once more!
Plot[]
The episode starts out at nightfall with Quincy greeting while crawling out out of the tent under the moonlight while camping outside Leo and Annie's House and soon, the other teams peaks out of the tent to greet with Quincy and so, June uses his telescope to look at the Moon while Quincy told the moon to shine at the Little Einsteins, but Annie says that the Moon can't hear Quincy. Then, Quincy got an idea that if he can play his violin, maybe the moon could hear them and soon, Quincy played his violin and then the moon shines at Quincy and then Quincy continues to play his violin while the other team sing See the Moon to help the moon shine at the team and soon, the moon shines at Annie, then Leo, then June, then, Rocket, and lastly, the viewers as they all dance in the moonlight. Then, they heard little mouse who is carrying a present and the whole team come to him and show him a present who is giving it to the Moon. When they look back up into the sky, the moon disappears and moves to the Matterhorn in Switzerland. Then, June look at the telescope to show that the moon had been moved to the Matterhorn in Switzerland, Unfortunately, it's too late because the Moon is so far way that the moon can't hear the whole team and the Little Mouse. But Quincy knew that the whole team can get to the Matterhorn in Switzerland so the Little Mouse can give the present to the Moon. So Leo put out his baton and told everyone that they’ve got a mission about helping little mouse give a present to the moon before the sunrise begins! So they all head inside Rocket, buckle their seatbelts, so the pat sequence, and blast off.
After they blast off, they arrived at the white Musical Roller Coaster and follow along the white track and soon, they're being bounced by a staccato bump three times, Then, they stop to check out the sign that said staccato as Leo told them. and Quincy explain about the big bumps on the track, Soon, they resume follow the musical track and then, they're being bounced on even bigger staccato track. Soon, they comes the biggest bumps ever and when they bounced over the biggest staccato track, the Little Mouse accidentally threw the present to the back of Rocket and hit the Button which activates the holder which drops the present.
After the staccato bumps and accidentally drop Little Mouse's present, June got a plan and Rocket uses his grab nabber to try and catch Little Mouse's present while June uses her hand to open and close her hand and soon, they got Little Mouse's present just as they reach to the bottom near the Matterhorn in Switzerland.
After they caught Little Mouse's present, then they have to go through the Forest in Switzerland in order to get to the Matterhorn to give Little Mouse a present to the moon. Then, the Little Mouse carries the present into the Forest in Switzerland and then the whole team follow Little Mouse. Soon, they arrived at the art Ancient Greek and Roman Mosaics and then they heard some animals in the forest. Soon, Quincy heard Little Mouse, so they all look and listen at the grass, but it turns out to be a cricket which sounds like a strings orchestra. Then, they all look and listen inside the bushes, but it turns out to be a nightingale. So they all look and listen inside the tree and reveal to be Little Mouse who is hiding from an owl. Leo told that Little Mouse was worried that the owl will take Little Mouse's present for the moon while Quincy need to make a plan to sneak past the owl. Then June had a plan that they can sneak past the owl when he's not looking by clapping softly to the beat and when the owl open his eyes again, June had to stop clapping and freeze so the owl doesn't see the whole team and the Little Mouse. Soon, they all clap and move slowly and then the owl open his eye and they all stop clapping and freeze. and then they resume clapping after the owl's eyes shuts and then freeze once again after the owls eyes are open again. Soon, they continue clapping as the owl's eyes shut again and the open again as they whole team stop clapping and freeze. Soon, they resume clapping and past the owl. Soon, they made out of the art of Ancient Greek and Roman Mosaics and then the Forest in Switzerland and soon, they saw the Moon which is behind the Matterhorn. Then the moon sees the whole team as the whole team sings "See the moon!".
After the Forest in Switzerland and the art of Ancient Greeks and Roman Mosaics, they arrived at snow bumps mountain and Rocket puts out his skis and the whole team and the Little Mouse head back to Rocket and ski down the mountain. While Rocket's skiing, they come up with three snow bumps which are staccato bump and Leo told Rocket to be careful about these three snow bumps and soon, Rocket resume skiing and then they come up with a bigger snow bumps and lastly, the being bumped over the biggest snow bumps and then they reach to the bottom of the snow bump mountain.
After those snowy bumps at the snow bump mountain, Rocket blasts off and uses his gondola trolley to get to the top of the Matterhorn. But Rocket is struggling to get up the ski lift. So, the whole team then pats to the beat and gives Rocket more power to make Rocket go up the ski lift while singing "See the moon!". And soon, they reach to the top of the Matterhorn and Quincy told Little Mouse to come with him to help the moon see Little Mouse.
After they reach to the top of Matterhorn, Quincy and Little Mouse head to the tippy top of the Matterhorn and the other team watch Quincy and he saw the moon. But the Moon didn't hear Little Mouse and then the Moon starts to set as Annie mentioned and June told Quincy to hurry and he uses his violin to play the Moonrise song, but the Moon continues to set so Quincy plays the Moonrise Song forte on his violin and fortissimo to help the Moon rise back up. Soon, the Moon rose back up and shine at Little Mouse and so, Little Mouse open the present to reveal some stars and the Moon loves Little Mouse's present and soon, all of the nocturnal animals love Little Mouse's present too. Mission Completion!

- This is the third episode to use Mozart music. However, in production order, this is the fourth episode to do so.
- Eine Kleine Nachtmusik in the music sheet is in G Major which is the correct pitch, but in The Birthday Balloons, it's in D Major.
- This episode is one of the three season 1 episodes on iTunes to have the team use their US voices rather than their UK voices (along with "Ring Around the Planet" and "Pirate's Treasure"). When it was first imported to iTunes in 2007, originally it uses the UK version for unknown reasons. Since 2012, when the series was split into 5 volumes, they replaced it with the USA version in the "Disney's Little Einsteins" on the iTunes store.
- This is the second time Leo makes an angry face, He looks stern when he tells the team to prepare and go over the snow bumps.
- In this episode, the Musical Roller Coaster's track changed its color to white whenever it's getting dark.
- Leo and Quincy holding their arms up are used again in "O Yes, O Yes, It's Springtime!".

- If you look closely when Leo's saying the name of the composer, there's another Quincy behind Annie if you look close enough.
