Quincy states that it is dangerous because there a big polar bears living in the mountain. Leo confirms that they still need to get over the mountain to return Little Totem Pole home, so Rocket suggests that they can fly over it. As the team aboard Rocket, they soon realized that Little Totem Pole is now too big to fit inside Rocket. Seeing no other choice, Little Totem Pole decides to climb the mountain all by himself, until Quincy assured him that he would climb Poler Bear Mountain with him as well, with the rest of the team following behind. Quincy asks the audience for help to look out for polar bears. But just as they were about to start climbing, Little Totem Pole saw something up ahead and was stopped in his tracks. Quincy looks through his binoculars and sees that it's a big polar bear. Quincy assured Little Totem Pole that he has a plan by playing a lullaby song on his flute to make to bear fall asleep, and with the audience's help, they play the song together. After playing his song, Quincy checks and sees that it worked, and the polar bear has fallen asleep. The two continued to climb up when Little Totem Pole freezes again, and Quincy spots another big polar bear up ahead. With his flute and the audience's help, he plays the lullaby. He then checks through his binoculars and sees that the polar bear has fallen asleep. With them now almost at the top of the mountain, Quincy and Little Totem Pole press forward and continue climbing. However, just as they were about to reach the top, Little Totem Pole stopped and shivered in fear. Fearing the worst, Quincy looks through the binoculars again to find the biggest polar bear of all up ahead. Quincy asks the audience, "What should they do?". To which the audience answered by playing the lullaby on their flute once again. Once Quincy finished playing his flute, he checked through his binoculars to find the polar had successfully fall asleep. With the last polar bear asleep, the two can continue climbing and have made it to the top, along with the rest of the team, who cheered for their success. Just then, Little Totem Pole begins to grow again, revealing a carving of Quincy for his feat.
Season 2 - Flight of the Instrument Fairies
A polar bear appears as a minor character in this season's episode as a former antagonist turned ally. As the Little Einsteins are on a mission to help Violin Fairy rescue the rest of the Instrument Fairies, they follow her through an ice tunnel and don't know which tunnel she went through. As they were listening for the Violin Fairy's music through the second tunnel (the first tunnel revealed to be a seal), they heard that it was not her song. As they looked through the other side of the tunnel with binoculars, it was revealed to be a polar bear on the other side, which terrifies the team, and they hoped that the Violin Fairy did not go through the second tunnel, which is then revealed that she went through the third tunnel. After that, the team went underwater with Rocket transformed into a submarine to get under a large ice floe blocking the way. Just as they were swimming by, they were trapped by large icebergs blocking their way until a Walrus came to help them by chipping away the ice. But as the walrus was halfway through, the team heard a familiar sound, which turned out to be the same polar bear from earlier, and it's swimming their way. Thankfully, the team managed to get out of the giant iceberg in time and thanked the walrus for its help. The team then proceeds to fly ahead, and Rocket has found that they are near Mount McKinley, where the Instrument Fairies are still trapped in a cave. However, it is revealed that the polar bear is also heading its way to Mount McKinley, which, in Quincy's horror, reveals that the cave where the fairies are trapped is where the polar bear lives. Fearing what will happen if the polar bear reaches the cave before them, the team then flies Super Fast and makes it to the cave first. After avoiding slippery snowflakes, Quincy and the Violin Fairy made it to the cave, but it's still locked and won't open. Just then, they hear the polar bear arriving and nearing his cave. But then, it is shown to be holding something in his mouth, which is the key to his cave. To the team's shock and surprise, the polar bear gives the key to the Violin Fairy. It is then revealed that he's a nice polar bear and has come to help the Instrument Fairies. Thanks to the polar bear's help, the Little Einsteins and the Violin Fairy have successfully freed the Instrument Fairies.
