Trivia[]
- The Polonaise movement of the symphony is a stylization of the Polish folk song, Wezmę ja kontusz (English: I'll take my nobleman's robe).
- The Badinerie movement has since become a showpiece for solo flautists because of its quick pace and diffuculty.
- The Badinerie has been used in various children's media, such as the theme to the British children's television show Picture Book and as incidental music for ITV Schools morning programmes.
